Mild tremors felt in Bidar district
Bidar district witnessed two tremors of magnitudes 1.9 and 2.1 in the early hours of Monday, according to the Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitoring Centre (KSNDMC) seismic station.
The tremor was felt at Waddankera village in the district, and it was recorded with a magnitude of 1.9. Two hours later, another tremor with a magnitude of 2.1 was felt at the same location. The KSNDMC reported that these quakes had very low intensity.
The KSNDMC has assured the public that the intensity observed was very low, and these tremors might be felt up to a radial distance of 20-25 kilometers from the epicenter. These types of quakes won’t create any harm as their intensities were very low.
